Military Madness/Heavy Metal

Driving a Chieftain tank? It's 750 horsepower, 12-cylinder Rolls Royce multi-fuel engine makes it the mother of all tanks! All guests will receive full driving tuition in the reassuring company of experienced instructors, who are themselves military veterans. Crucially, our ratio of guests to vehicles is set to keep all participants active and highly entertained throughout the session. Driving the Abbot SPG and driving the APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier) are all included within the session to add a complete and contrasting experience.

Combined with:

C.Q.B. (Close Quarter Battle) uses a unique infra-red weapons training system (originally designed for the Army). Platoons will get their first taste of combat. After a brief and short training period platoons and their tactical advisors will then enter the virtual battleground and undertake a series of true-life scenarios amidst the ‘fog of war’ - created by the use of theatrical pyrotechnics!

The SA80 style rifle fires an invisible (and safe) beam to a range of nearly 50 metres, that hits sensors in the opposition forces’ helmets, setting off an alarm and downloading any ammunition held in the weapon, thus rendering them a ‘casualty’. Reporting back to the medical station, casualties will be electronically re-activated and sent back into action. An electronic ‘ammo-dump’ will enable the recruits to reload their rifles as many times as necessary.

More barmy army? Why not consider Mortar Academy, Sniper School, Escape and Evasion, Interrogation Training – vital office skills for any recent corporate recruit!

Target Rifle Shooting

Test your composure and skill in shooting at stationary targets with a rifle. Hitting the target is not difficult with a sighted rifle but getting a series of bulls eyes is no easy task. Posture, breathing and control all combine to influence performance. A different approach is needed for success in this discipline which can be presented as either of two styles; Shoot-em-up (relaxed/Western) or formal as in Olympics.

Danger UXB

An unexploded bomb is set to explode in the grounds of the venue. Using the intel available, the team must determine where it is and then formulate a plan to retrieve and deactivate it. To fail means the whole team is wiped out so planning, assigning tasks to best-suited team members is required along with lateral thinking and plenty of common sense.
