Sailing Regatta
Appealing, challenging, confidence building - all in highly relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere!
Over recent years, sailing has become a major sporting and social occasion - an ideal environment for networking and communicating with colleagues, a unique way to spend quality time with your guests. We are completely unbiased in the selection of yachts, locations and programmes.
The sense of camaraderie and team spirit, that is gained from racing, lasts a great deal longer than the day itself and most importantly of all, forms an ideal foundation on which future business relationships and partnerships may be firmly built upon
Powerwaves can source a range of matched yachts to suit your event, be it a fleet of 40ft ‘high performance’ race boats for a regatta style day or the unique one design racing yachts. A company sailing day will include a morning practice session, before the crews become involved in some competitive and close racing. This programme will give your guests the opportunity to learn a new sport, or dust up on old skills, work as a team with colleagues and experience competing in an endurance sport. Yacht racing is fun and memorable.

Guests meet for a brief introduction and arrival refreshments. Following an introduction to their skippers and a full safety briefing, guests join their Swan Yachts. |
12.30 |
Lunch will be served either on ashore or onboard anchored in a secluded bay. |
14.00 |
After lunch it is back out onto the water to put newly found sailing skills into practice. The yachts will compete in a race back to the marina. |
17.00 |
Approximate return to shore for a Champagne Prize giving reception. Joke prizes will also be awarded for exceptional achievements!
Guests depart at leisure. |
