Monaco, Mallorca and Champagne
Monaco
There are few destinations in the world that are more synonymous with success, glamour and excitement than the Côte d'Azur. The palm trees, blue sea, beautiful beaches, sparkling towns and villages with their splendid residences against the backdrop of the high green mountains have impressed visitors since the 18th Century.
Forty minutes East of Nice along the scenic Grande Corniche, or only 6 impressive minutes by Mediterranean Helicopter Services, lays the small enclave of Monaco nestled between the Maritime Alps, French Côte d'Azur and north Italian Riviera. The much famed and fated Genoese Grimaldi family has ruled here since the thirteenth century and the Prince's Palace with its daily tourist attraction of Changing the Guard, sits atop the old cheese-like rock of Monaco which is riddled with quaint, cobbled and bistro-lined streets of the picturesque old town.
Overlooking the expensive yachts moored in the old harbour and the performance cars of Casino Square, stand the palatial superior deluxe hotels of the Société des Bains de Mer (SBM), The Hôtel de Paris and The Hermitage are Monte Carlo's most celebrated addresses. Their magnificent function rooms, beautifully renovated accommodation and renowned restaurants are prime examples of the European Belle Époque architectural tradition and elegance that so epitomise Monte Carlo for conference delegates and international stars alike.
Indeed, Monaco is always a winner. Arguably the most glamorous destination in Europe and inordinately expensive for any individual traveller, a corporate event is the perfect way to experience the kind of thrills and highlife that would not normally be available - but to the privileged few. But most importantly of all, viewed from the water, Monaco and the rest of the Côte d'Azur has more to offer than any shore-based visitor could ever imagine.
Palma - Mallorca
All costs are for a full weekend and inclusive of all meals, hotel accommodation, flights, activity day and an allowance for drinks.
Mallorca is an island of living contrasts and consistently undersold to the corporate market. Beautiful scenery and limitless opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment, an island with bright beaches and amazing corners full of poetry and tradition. Contrast this with the obvious wealth, glamour and the thrilling nightlife, Mallorca is, above all... fun!
Palma, the capital is a palm lined Harbour city, crowned with a majestic 13th century Cathedral.
A city of contrasts where the old narrow streets and traditional terraced houses of the walled city blend beautifully with the wide boulevards and modern buildings in the newer part of town. There is an extensive network of impressive marinas and yacht clubs with countless undeveloped coves just waiting to be explored - often the most striking bays are only accessible by boat. With in excess of 1,500 Sunseeker Powerboats on the island of Mallorca, this is by far the most popular destination for boat owners to enjoy in the Mediterranean.
